Google Sync is a pretty handy app that lets you sync contacts/calendar events between your device and data in your google account. Unfortunately when I set out to get one for my BB, I would get standard and illegible error message “unable to download sync”. Some digging around and I found out that google’s mobile app server had corrupt device descriptor header along with the app install file (in essence denying download to certain devices). Deep inside a dev forum thread, I dug up a stripped down version of the installation file and uploaded it up on my server to make it available to folks like you who might need it.
